What
is "Learn to Write & Speak Japanese" lessons?
Each lesson always take place 2 Japanese people
whose name is Tamaki
and Tomita .
From this lessons, each Lesson of "Learn
to Write and Speak Japanese" shows the conversational
Japanese Writing. There are 2 exercises which are included
in each lesson. One is to learn writing Japanese, and another
one is learn speaking Japanese.
If you have a printer, we would suggest you to
print this page out, so that you can practice
to write Japanese, and also, if you have an ipod, please listen
to our pod casting as well!

Lesson: How to introduce yourself in Japanese
In today's Japanese lesson,
you will learn how to introduce yourself in Japanese.
In today's example, supposing that Tomita visit Tamaki's house
and meet him first time. In this conversation, we will tell you in a polite
way of introducing yourself in Japanese.
Anyway, Let's learn to write Japanese for real
communications!

Exercise: Let's learn to write in Japanese
Print out this page, and learn
to write the following Japanese language.
In this writing, bothkanji and hiragana
script was used.
Hajimemashite is used only when
first meeting someone.
It is an interdependent expression, and definitely used when
meeting some at first time.
So, both Tomita and Tamaki is meeting each other first time
in this situation.

"Tomita to i i ma su"
and "Tamaki de su" was used to
introduce yourself and your last name. I i ma su is little
bit more polite way of saying.

Yoroshiku onegaishimasu means
"I am pleased to meet you" in English.
In Japanese, it is always used when finish introducing your
name. Although it means "I am pleased to meet you"
in a usually conversation, it literally means "I humbly
request favorable treatment".
In this writing, you may notice that "nega"
symbol is Japanese kanji, not hiragana script.
